New Video: Loretto Ice Wheat

http://www.youtube.com/user/apokalupsis3#p/u/0/htPMzuziVOA A little story on this video filmed in the Loretto area of the Allegheny Highlands---after mass one cold february morning I drove through fields of draping wheat touched by frost in such a delicate way that I was very much drawn to the fragile beauty I saw. The music is also delicate. Recorded at Firewheel sometime earlier this year. My goal is to move to bigger film projects with the more serious music but I am in no rush.

New Fender Mandolin

FIREWHEEL STUDIO acquires new instruments! I recently traded the famed Alan Parsons Roland D-50 synthesizer for an electric Fender mandolin. Not that I play mandolin, but perhaps one of my musical friends will christen this fine instrument.

Martin 12 String Guitar

Today I purchased a new guitar: the Martin D12X1AE. I christened the guitar by playing The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and I was amazed! There is a smell about new Martins I have found, a beautiful smell---I think it is the spruce top. FIREWHEEL STUDIO PROUDLY SUPPORTS MARTIN
